At Mamatoto Childbirth and Breastfeeding Educative Services (CBEs), we are dedicated to providing holistic, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families. Founded in 2016, we aim to support women throughout their entire reproductive journey, from any pregnancy, labor, and delivery stage to the first two years of their child’s life—covering the critical first 1,000 days. Our bespoke services, including childbirth education, labor support, and postnatal care, are delivered with excellence, compassion, and a personal touch to ensure that every woman receives quality, respectful, and responsive care. Empowering mothers with the right tools and support leads to positive pregnancy experiences and healthy, happy families.

Mamatoto's History

Mamatoto Childbirth and Breastfeeding Educative Services (CBEs) was founded in 2016 by Rosemary Shikari Obwoge, driven by a passion for improving maternal and infant health in Kenya. Recognizing the significant challenges faced by expectant mothers, particularly in underserved rural and urban slum areas, Rosemary aimed to create an organization that provides holistic support and education throughout the reproductive journey.

Since its inception, Mamatoto CBEs has developed a comprehensive service package that covers all aspects of reproductive care—from pregnancy and labor support to breastfeeding and postpartum education. The organization has focused on empowering mothers with evidence-based knowledge, ensuring they can take ownership of their birth experiences. By fostering a community of support and advocacy, Mamatoto CBEs has positively impacted the lives of countless families, contributing to healthier outcomes for mothers and their babies.

Through ongoing training, outreach programs, and partnerships with local healthcare providers, Mamatoto CBEs continues to expand its reach and enhance the quality of care for expectant families across Kenya.
